The Escapist

Samuel Ellis is a smart, but troubled teenager who lives with his delirious and loathsome father in New York City. Samuel's humble and caring mother died when he was very young. He longs to understand why she had to go so soon to ruin his future. Samuel's life amends when he visits Osaka, Japan and meets Solis, a beautiful girl who he falls in love with. However, their amity is cut short, just like all of Samuel's happiness. Samuel's despair seems to affect everyone around him, including his best friend, Markus. All Samuel wants is to live the life he dreams about with the girl he loves.
