Athia: Parables 1 contains two adventures that take place in the world of Athia; A Harsh Winter’s Journey and Sorrow's Cache. The first showcases loyalty and duty within a particular Clan in House Onin, and by the end of the story the characters will see for themselves how far some will take their responsibilities. It is a parable illustrating the values of duty, loyalty and moral obligation. The second begins with a group of characters who are in Debtor’s Prison – ultimately looking to earn their freedom. While in Debtor’s Prison, they meet a fellow debtor by the name of Hallof, who tells each of them some piece of a bigger story. It is this story that helps paint the parable of honor, family and sacrifice.
