As a result of recent improvements in heart resuscitation, increasing numbers of patients have reported that if their heart, lungs, brain and brain stem ceased to function during surgery.i.e.they became clinically dead, they still remained conscious; often able to move arround accurately observing activity in other parts of the hospital, even seeing and hearing grieving relatives in nearby rooms.
