No other personage shaped modern orthodox Christianity, its beliefs, and its worship practices more than Paul. Paul developed a religion about the divine personage of Jesus – via mystical experiences and visions he had -- which were not based on the sayings or parables of the probable historical teachings of Jesus. It is likely that Paul met with Peter, John, and James and received some teachings from the apostles of the Master Jesus and from the students of these apostles. Thus, importantly, embedded within the Pauline Letters are true, authentic, and powerful seeds of the probable historical teachings of Jesus that need to be separated from Paul’s Christology and soteriology and examined deeply. In this book, The Pauline Epistles: Identifying The Probable Historical Teachings Of Jesus & The Nonhistorical Teachings About Jesus In Paul’s Letters, I will demonstrate that some of the mystically revealed teachings of Paul and some of his own personal spiritual conclusions found in his authentic epistles (as agreed upon by modern biblical scholarship) simply are not in accord or agreement with the probable historical teachings of Jesus. This is a vital investigation to make if we are to understand what Jesus’ probable historical message was for humanity.
