Ice Fall

Captain Daniel Vargas and his crew are tasked with piloting the vast RESS Phoenix to nu Phoenicis, an F8 star that has at least two oxygen-water worlds orbiting it. They have with them a vast library that contains the majority of humanity's technology and culture, and the ability to build just about anything, provided they have the raw materials. They are as well prepared for anything the universe can throw at them as is possible. Yet somehow, things just don't work out...
