Review from WritersDigest: There's a lot to like about this book. It's heart-wrenching and heart-warming at the same time. The main character goes through a vast array of emotions and the author does such a great job of developing the character and showing his acceptance of losing Oakley. The author should be very proud to produce a book as such a nice memorial to Oakley- and a book that will help other children deal with the loss of their own. And the illustrations! These are top-notch comic illustrations that enhance the story wonderfully. Really, the more I reflect on this book, the more I like it. I should also add that this book feels like quality. It's the type of self-published book that will be lifted off the bookshelves.
