A one-act play. Lorena Hickok, the only woman reporter in the New York press bureau of the Associated Press, is on FDR's 1932, cross-country, whistlestop campaign. The train is sidetracked for a day in Arizona, and Lorena is confronted with a choice that will be a turning point in her career as well as in the fate of a nation.
