Bone Fever

In the wind-scoured Badlands of 1878, the ground is giving up its oldest secrets. Benjamin Temple, a man who prefers the company of silence to the noise of the saloons, stumbles upon a massive, petrified ribcage protruding from a canyon wall. He initially thinks it’s a curiosity until a team of Bone Hunters from the East arrives with dynamite and a checkbook. The Bone Wars have reached the frontier, and the prestigious museums of New York and Philadelphia are paying a king’s ransom for Dragon Stones. Benjamin finds himself caught in the crossfire of two rival paleontologists who are willing to sabotage, steal, and shoot to claim the find of the century. As the fever spreads through the local camps, Benjamin must decide if he’s a simple laborer or the protector of a prehistoric titan. To get his stone dragon out of the desert intact, he’ll have to outmaneuver claim-jumpers who think he’s hiding a literal gold mine beneath the fossils.
