When two orphaned baby elephants are rescued, they are taken to a game park in Harare. Wild and terrified, they are covered in wounds and not weaned. Cathy and Simon must calm them, treat their wounds and teach them to drink milk from a bucket. Walking every day in the bush with Cathy or Simon the elephants must learn to feed themselves in the wild. This is a heart-warming story of two elephants that changed the lives of everyone involved in their care; gentle giants in the heart of the city. A story of love and laughter, escapes and adventures. Book contains over 40 black and white photographs.
