MATLAB THROUGH EXAMPLES. BASIC STATISTICS, GRAPHICS, CONTROL SYSTEMS, AND OPTIMIZATION
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
The first part of this book is dedicated to the basic statistical functions implemented by MATLAB, including Descriptive Statistics, Probability Distributions, Linear and Nonlinear Models, Multivariate Data Analysis, Hypothesis Testing, Process Control, and Design of Experiments. All these topics can be expanded upon using the interactive functions and tools of the Statistics and Machine Learning Toolbox, developed in other books by the same author. The second part of the book focuses on Control Systems and Predictive and Robust Control. The most important MATLAB tools used are the Control System Toolbox, Predictive Control Toolbox, and Robust Control Toolbox. The final part of the book is dedicated to Optimization, including Linear Programming, Nonlinear Programming, Quadratic Programming, solving Equations and Systems, Conditional Least Squares, Nonlinear Least Squares, and Non-negative Linear Least Squares. The MATLAB tool used is the Optimization Toolbox. Finally, a section is dedicated to graphical programming in MATLAB, which can be very helpful for most scientific tasks. Each chapter includes fully developed examples and exercises using MATLAB.
