Matt's Story

This is the story of our beloved son's life and death. It is told from his viewpoint and from the viewpoint of others who were part of his life and death. It is written so that his children will hear his stories that he most likely would have shared with them as they grew...the stories that you hear from your family as you go on your first date, get your first car, go into high school and then college and when you get married and have children. Hopefully, it will be a story that they can return to over and over again when they meet a new milestone in their life, or, maybe wonder what Dad might have done or thought about something. I would imagine these words would be precious to a child as it was spoken about their father, or, to know what people thought about him, or, to understand him. It is no substitute for him being here, but, hopefully it can help comfort and answer some questions that they may have about who was their father and what he thought about life.
