Coyote Cookbook

Calavera Hills Middle School 6th Graders worked together to create a cookbook using recipes that were derived from their own culture. Students worked in their math classes to convert each recipe to three different serving sizes. Students then researched the history and culture of their chosen food in their history classes and provided a brief overview. In science class, students took a look at the major macro molecules present in their chosen recipes. They then discussed the impact of that chosen molecule and its affect on their cells.
