Volume 1 focuses on Cammie’s schooldays and onto taking a scholarship place up at Oxford University to read Modern Languages – as well as what happens when she meets her partner-to-be, Amelia, and how the relationship develops and deepens with Cammie losing her virginities in the ‘truest’ sense with Amelia and others. What Ms Penne brings us is journey of erotic LGBTQ discovery – with all its joys and travails – written with all the passionate and knowledgeable perspective of a writer who knows wherein of which she speaks.
