The sword well equates to a symbol of manhood, its mastery to that of manliness. Manhood is inferred upon by the witness of virility. The phallus stands to represent this principle. The bliss of sexual union in analogy to the Mu Shin state of the practicing swordsman is the subject matter of this book. Drawn out in five short Cantos this mystical state of mind is depicted as the ultimate union between sword and mind.
