How the World was Won is an old western parody by Clay Wright, most eloquently presented by fictional campfire story teller, Jake Newman.
Covering a period of paradoxical analogy past, present and future, this short story is rife with spoofs on everything from the gold rush to the great train robbery to time travel, the prohibition, the resurrection and the end of time. It has outlaw gangs, Indians, fishermen, coalminers, federal marshals, good ol' boys and great heroes. A real action-packed adventure, presented in true western story tellin' style, right down to the accent - sayin' in one sittin' all the western history worth tellin'- to the listeners of a future generation.
