The world in which the early Christians lived and proclaimed the good news of Jesus was dependent upon word of mouth, reputation, and shared experience. In contrast, digital technology increasingly underpins all areas of life and has been a significant facilitator in the way in which evangelism is done in the present day. Social media platforms have continuously been used for everything, including casually updating the status of one’s life, sharing world news, and extending an open invitation to communicate in real time. The digital arena is no longer the place where life happens; it exists consubstantial with the physical world.
