Crimson Sky

In a time when the world is on the edge of ultimate elimination, on the brink of nothingness, a young woman named Cadence fights to survive in a blackened post-apocalyptic landscape. The year is 2008 and the story begins with her rocking on the dark water in a tiny makeshift boat struggling to comprehend humanities collective decision to let the turmoil in the Middle East escalate to the point of nuclear holocaust unaware if humanity still remained somewhere, unable to comprehend that it possibly could not. It is the compelling story of modern day self discovery, and self awareness. In the end Cadence acknowledges her ultimate connection to the collective and understands that in her own complacency she also was responsible for the downfall of society.
