From where I'm standing

The first part of this collection deals with subjects as diverse as the minke whale who strayed up the Thames, to the 2005 Ashes series, taking in gardening, groceries, God, and the ballcock, among other things, on the way. The second section focuses in on his parents, his grandparents, the traumatic day of his birth, his memories and thoughts, and second thoughts, of past times, and family.
