Evan Hall, now unemployed, homeless, and addicted, belongs where he is; atop the abandoned building he calls The Flat. After his high-school sweetie broke up with him, he is shattered. One evening he sees a young woman and immediately falls for her. His life goes for another dive one night when she disappears.
