The Silent Betrayal

It has been said often when describing fascism that it would arrive on the shores of the United States carrying a Bible and waving the Stars and Stripes flag. That would happen when, in 2024, two men believed they were above the law, and they had rigged the Federal Election to ensure neither of them would go to prison for their multiple crimes against others. It would ignite an attack on the Constitution that hadn’t been seen since the Civil War of 1861-1865, when Southern states wanted the Confederacy's rule of law that would ban equal rights for Blacks and other minorities. Many suffered, and in the end, the nation was united again under one flag, one Constitution, and political parties worked together to solve the country's problems. It is known that the blind often lead the blind into destruction, and what unfolded was horrifying, where allies were discarded and tariffs destroyed the economies of many countries. There were no doubts that the narcissist felon occupied the White House, and his ego, greed, dementia, and quest for gold and his own recognition would see many face hardships they couldn’t even imagine a mere two years earlier. Join the author as he writes what he saw during this time for a nation that descended into the pits of Hell itself, with many examples of how one man and a party in power totally forgot their oaths to the Constitution, including the Supreme Court. The author attempts to write a how-to guide for people to fight back and emerge victorious over fascism. Their silent betrayal of ethics, morals, truth, and principles - a moral compass, empathy, and acceptance - were all thrown away in the same way as Nazi Germany of the 1930s descended into cruel and inhumane fascism when the people lost their way.
