Ink'd Out! Retirement Announcement.

Oh shit! Here we go again! On March 12th, 2024, I published Autobiography Sample. Though I’m proud to have published it, I made a mistake in how I described it. “In June of 2021, I decided to challenge myself as a writer” is wrong! Actually, it’s June of 2022. I left my error alone and was willing to explain it once the full book is released. “I handpicked seven chapters and spent ALL DAY LONG editing them for your enjoyment” sounds good on the surface. I didn’t think much of it until two years later. On June 15th, 2025, I tried to publish Autobiography Sample 2. Everything seemed right until I received my proof copy. Almost immediately, I noticed errors. To say it pissed me off is an understatement. I was FURIOUS! At myself, of course. I canceled global distribution before anyone had the chance to call out my errors. I’m the only one with the physical copy of Autobiography Sample 2. It’s remained that way for an entire year. I can’t tell you how many times I questioned whether or not I should publish my autobiography. I’ve contemplated walking away and quitting many times. But I can’t. This is literally my life's work, and I have to see it through. So I decided to give it one more try! ‘All you gotta do is fix your errors,’ I told myself at the beginning of July. ‘Make up for it, Dalton. Add a couple more chapters!’ Re-editing Autobiography Sample 2 was EXHAUSTING! ‘Combine both samples,’ I then told myself. ‘You’ve already edited it; there’s not much work to do. Just look it over one last time!’ Again, I had to read so many errors. Re-editing Autobiography Sample was EXHAUSTING! Today is August 2nd, 2026. After spending several weeks proofreading and editing, I’m ready to publish Ink’d Out! The Official Autobiography Sample. This combines both samples, with an added opening and closing chapter.
