Dan Grossman took his first panoramic photo with a Galaxy S9 at the Tijuana Beach--Playas--on a visit in July 2023. He stood near the border fence, held his phone horizontally, and started to spin. He followed the nodal line in the viewfinder, the guide meant to keep the camera level. He kept turning beyond 360 degrees. The resulting image of the border wall, doubling back on itself, turbocharged his imagination. He would soon find a corollary for his images in words; in poems and prose. Black and white edition.
