[Illustrator : Toshiyuki Misu] Toshiyuki "Max" Misu was born and grew up in the small town of Hiroshima, Japan. He graduated from Pacific University (Oregon) with a B. S. degree and then completed his Ph.D. degree in Physics from the University of Tennessee, USA. He is currently working as a researcher and is writing and illustrating children's picture books.
