Living Without Kate

In the Dreaming of Kate trilogy, Danny pursues a career as an author and pursues a woman whom haunted his dreams before they had even met. With Leah breaking off her engagement with Danny and Andrew breaking off his engagement with Kate, Danny finds himself sharing his island home with Kate. In this sequel we see these four characters begin to pick up the pieces of their lives, Leah in Burlington, Andrew in Boston, and Danny and Kate in Canada. Meanwhile, the troubled teen, Ciara, is now heading off to Northeastern University, only to find that Andrew has coincidentally taken residence in the same area. New characters are introduced, including a 15-year old, aspiring writer who is seeking help from Danny, as well as a desperate, Russian immigrant who is seeking legal help from Andrew. The connections between these characters become increasingly complex, in this story of life and illusions, leading them all down a road filled with uncertainty and peril.
