The moon is the mind, according to Buddhism and many other theories. But the full moon can make people crazy. And I have been through those crazy moments, getting low, getting high, like the famed poet Han Mac Tu. What I loved in my violin lessons when I was at college, and again, during Alan Watts’ listening, “the interval’. According to Alan Watts, if one is able to catch this interval between the two thoughts, one will get enlightenment, because it is death there, between the two thoughts. So I wrote the poem collection: “The interval”, of life, of love, of childhood nostalgia, of urban miss, of Buddhist mind training before this poem collection of “Blame it to the temptation moon” The writing process has been a strange one. Not necessarily a bad one, rather easy and fluid and mastering. And I have finished this poem collection in more or less a month. It is composed mainly of 4 or 5 word verses, and highly metaphoric and symbolic. And I love each and every single piece of it, the most after my poem collection titled “Memories| Turn my face| To parallel dimensions”. Yet the moment I decided to write this poem collection “Blame it to the temptation moon”, it is the moment of some kind of resentment, of blaming. Blame everything to the moon, either our insanity or our enlightenment. In another world, blame our own mind, no more, no less.
