Their favorite movie was Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry. It reminded them of themselves; wild and free and cruising and robbing the highways and back roads of America with reckless abandon. Their names – Derrick and Elnora – weren't quite as catchy as Mary or Larry, didn't rhyme, but that was okay; what they lacked in in the latter, they more than made up for in tenacity. Bound and determined and dead set on becoming more famous than even Bonnie and Clyde. It was like it was in their blood, in their DNA, to become famous – or infamous – by tearing through the United States like a deadly plague more than two human beings from the back roads of West Virginia. What they didn't know was, another wild couple, Romeo and Juliet - two seasoned serial killers - were on their radar, and were going to show them that they didn't appreciate any unwanted competition.
