Hunting Butterflies

Is it reasonable to love someone so much you want it to last forever? Love is the last belief left in a society of science and reason. If you were a man of reason married to a believer, would you learn to love completely? Would you want to? His perfectly reasonable life has been ripped apart by a sudden loss. This sends him to Amsterdam and the baser pleasures of lust, drugs and violence. Through this trial, he comes to understand the woman whose madness may be more beautiful than the “real” world he inhabits.
