Conrail Fully Enclosed Auto Racks

The purpose of this publication is to catalog the flat cars with fully enclosed auto racks in Conrail livery. The heart of the catalog is the list of individual cars with over four thousand entries. Most of Conrail’s racks were mounted on Trailer Train/TTX Company flat cars. The car numbers are literally scattered throughout the Trailer Train/TTX fleet. In addition to the car numbers this book also revises the Conrail part of an earlier article on auto rack paint schemes. This revision doubles the original quantity of paint schemes from five to ten.
