Data/reference only. No photos. For the freight car historian and enthusiast, Southwest Rail Industries has always been a cornucopia of heritage equipment. In the past decade, their fleet has also added a number of new-built cars bringing another level of interest to this varied fleet. This book lists 1,652 cars using the SRIX reporting marks current to December 2011. Each car show its immediate previous car identity (if applicable), followed by the equipment type code, year built, and builder.
