Sharing Cheriton! By writer/author David Heckel. Beginning of the " Long ago, Capeville" series, beginning in 1974-on the Eastern Shore of Virginia-at Cheriton elementery. The beginning of 4th grade was marked by a mass racial intergration, understanding the local cultures, as compared to that of Toledo, Ohio-and a multitude of fist fights at school-brings on certain challenges that were unexpected-and the rise above it all, in doubt.
