Summer Moon

Ancient cultures, especially the Egyptians were known to be very focused on solar deities. The reasoning behind this is that due to high and hot temperatures, many believe that not only could pleasing the sun bless your life but, may ward against any negative effects of damage or illness caused by this. Makeup, wigs and even certain clothing is specifically made to be worn to prevent wind and other types of natural harm, which we know today can significantly shorten our life spans in many ways, like cancers & death. Walking around without clothing is especially hard to do, not only psychologically for many people but, because our skin is not able to withstand much drastic changes in the atmosphere.
