TO LOVE FOREVER

Hello my name is Theron Delacroix. Our roots run deep in the red clay and marshlands on the north shore of Lake Ponchatrain. Our lands are situated between the lake and the beautiful city of New Orleans. This story is about two families living in a place and time that was wondrous yet filled with deep dark secrets. One family steeped in pride and meticulous character. The other family conjured up in rumor. For the Delacroix family is cursed. But no one will speak it aloud. The O’Brien family is the closet neighbors to the Delacroix clan. Our grandfathers settled this land a very long time ago. The O’Brien’s grow by the generations. Yet as for my sister Arabella and me we remain constant guardians watching over our clans in the passing of the years. I hate what I am but it is my curse to bear. For after what seems to be a millennium, I have found the love of my life. This is our story.
