Based on The Book of Nurse Saints, the Litany of Nurse Saints lists the nurses who have been declared Saint and Blessed with a very short one to three line summary of their contribution to nursing and the request "Pray for us." For each nurse in italics is the year of their birth and death and the country of origin and canonization or beatification. The appendix includes the memorial/feast days for each of the saints and blesseds along with a listing of the country of their origin, work and death. The last appendix includes the list of those nurses who are titled venerable, servant of God or martyrs. Remember to pray for the intercession of the saints and also those who have not yet been declared saints. Miracles should be reported to the postulator or vice postulator for the cause of the canonization. This booklet is provided to enable anyone who so desires to ask for the intercession of these nurses.
