Amy is deaf. As she has never heard sound, she can’t communicate through speech, instead she is learning sign language. Although Amy loves her big sister Eugenie very much, Eugenie doesn’t always treat Amy as well as she should, instead she uses Amy’s deafness to get extra treats. Eugenie gets poorly and she loses her voice. Now it’s Amy’s turn to look after her big sister, but she only shows her sister kindness and love. Soon Eugenie realises how cruel she has been to Amy and wants to make it up to her and treat her like a sister should.
This beautiful story has been created especially for young children, to encourage them to be nice to others and of course, treat others how they would like to be treated.
