What if every time you played a chess game you were really planning out a war?
Every time it rains Heath Convoys is forced to play a game of chess with his mother. Needless to say, he hates it but he doesn't want to tell his mother because she'll be upset. This tradition is unbearable until he discovers a whole new world in his mind where his moves on the chess board actually matter. In this world, the chess board is a battle field and its pieces are the people that Heath must try to save.
