The Bible is full of these “in-between” moments. Israel wandered between slavery and promise. The disciples waited between the cross and Pentecost. Even creation itself began in the chaos of “formless and void.”
And yet that’s always where God shows up.
There’s an old word for this in political science: interregnum — the time between reigns, between rulers, between orders. It’s that pause when one kingdom has fallen and another hasn’t yet been crowned.
