Friends from Elsewhere

Mary Anderson had just entered the farm 300-foot driveway when she noticed something lying in the drainage ditch on the left side of the road. She was shocked to find that it was a teenager lying there. She got him to regain a little consciousness and was able to support him as they both made it to her car. In the house, the boy was a little more alert but his ribs hurt and he felt weak. Mary found out that the boy was 19-years-old and that his name was Velkar Beltarias. Jean Anderson, Mary 18-year-old daughter was immediately smitten by the young man when she comes into the farmhouse and sees him on the sofa. Velkar tried to contact his father with his portable phone but a connection could not be made. This story has many storylines and it covers many subtle issues that are brought out in a passive way from those topics that the reader reluctantly knows exists in our world today. The story also brings together two different culture and the subtle differences between what each has and doesn’t have.
