The Ladies Aid Society of the United Brethren Church provides many of the “off-budget” items the church needs with numerous bazaars, bake sales, special gatherings, and any other way to raise money for the church’s needs. There was no title page, sale price, or anything that gave any specifics on the publishing of this booklet. I'm just guessing at the format; it may have been from the United Brethren print shop where you sent in the names of local sponsors, and they created the booklet and shipped it to the church. There was no date on the booklet, but I guessed based on the dates used in the chapter on writing Invitations where they gave some dates which I believe would be somewhere around the time of its publication. The church then distributed the booklet as needed, either for a donation or just giving it to new households to aid them in getting started.
