Project Genesis Plus Life Pod

Here are two stories. 1. Project Genesis: A team of one astronaut and four scientists are sent to a space station for the duration of an apocalyptic war. The payload includes human gametes and artificial wombs to repopulate Earth if needed. They return to an Earth almost devoid of people. All goes well until one of the scientists goes psychotic. 2. Life Pod. Two astronauts are on a mission when the ship is damaged in an accident. The astronauts abandon ship in separate life pods. One of the astronauts takes advantage of the accident to settle an old grudge with the other by sabotaging his pod.
