Bomber Pilot Don Macintosh

Experience the life of a world war two bomber pilot through the eyes of Capt Don Macintosh. His horrendous experience of the Blitz led him to fly Lancaster bombers over France, Holland, Stuttgart and Munich. Amongst a number of famous raids, he carried out three attacks on the sister ship of the Bismark: the Tirpitz in Norway, and finally on Hitler’s eagles nest at Berchtesgaden. Donald survived countless near misses: exploding flak, German fighters, low fuel, maintenance and administrative errors, friendly fire, zero visibility, amongst others.
