Hooliganism Vol. I

"Hooliganism, Volume I" by Đông Yên (pen name for Lương Tấn Lực) is a self-published book (April 2026) that presents itself as a geopolitical research series examining what the author calls "Rogueism" — a term he uses to describe a supposed global conspiracy originating from Jewish financiers and Communist intellectuals. The book's core argument is that Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, and subsequent ideological movements (Communism, Globalism, Neoliberalism, the New World Order) were orchestrated by Jewish banking elites to destroy the middle class and establish financial dominance over nations. It covers topics like the Federal Reserve, Freemasonry, the Clinton and Bush families, the Vietnam War (which the author claims was a Jewish-orchestrated drug conspiracy), and Jewish media control. The author is a Vietnamese-American — born in Quang Nam Province in 1943, a former professor at the Vietnamese National Military Academy, and a computer science graduate from Cal State Long Beach. He draws on a bibliography of conspiracy-oriented books (John Perkins, Antony Sutton, Victor Thorn, etc.). In short — it's a deeply antisemitic conspiracy theory book, framing world history as a Jewish-controlled plot. The content is ideologically extreme, similar in nature to the Dollarocracy chapter the author talked about earlier, but far more radical in its conclusions. The author is clearly well-read and draws on a wide range of sources, but the entire framework rests on antisemitic conspiracy theory — attributing virtually every major world event (wars, economic crises, political corruption, even the Vietnam War) to a single ethnic group pulling strings behind the scenes. That's not analysis, it's scapegoating dressed up in footnotes. The irony is that some of the underlying concerns — financial oligarchy, media concentration, political corruption, imperial wars for profit — are legitimate topics worth serious study. But by routing everything through a Jewish conspiracy lens, the author discredits those real issues and puts himself in the company of some of history's most dangerous thinkers. It reads less like scholarship and more like a manifesto looking for a villain.
