Note: the back cover is showing as the front cover, because the text is in hebrew.
Girsah Deyankutah translates, loosely, as the texts from childhood. The Sages teach that what one learns in their youth stays with them better than learning that happens later in life.
I have tried to arrange the hebrew text of Mishnah Shabbat to be laid out and color coded to facilitate recognition of textual patterns and identification of the topic, case, and law of each Mishnah.
I titled this series, of which I hope and pray tractate Shabbat will be a first of many, Girsah Deyankutah, because I hope it will present the Mishnah in such a way that it recaptures the clarity and simplicity of having learned the text in our early years, even if we did not merit that opportunity.
Ideally, I am looking to work with a team of people who would be willing to further the work of making Mishnah accessible to all.
