Five Years At The Margin

All the essays included in this volume first appeared on the editorial page of The Elko Daily Free Press from 1993 through 1997, under the byline "At the Margin." They are reprinted here with only minor editorial changes. While first published as what can be called "conservative commentary" on important events of the day, the articles might be considered more than that. They consist of a fair amount of content pertaining to basic economic reasoning and principles and political and moral philosophy. While the author makes no pretense about having all the answers to the problems that confront individuals and groups in society, the serious reader will hopefully glean a few truths from the lessons taught herein.
