Dark Death, was a pandemic that desolated Europe somewhere in the range of 1347 and 1351 and took a proportionately more prominent cost for life than some other known plague or battle up to that time.
The Black Death is broadly accepted to have been the consequence of a plague, brought about by contamination with the bacterium Yersinia pestis. Current hereditary examinations demonstrate that the type of Y. pestis presented during the Black Death is familial to all surviving coursing Y. pestis strains known to cause illness in people. Consequently, the beginning of current plague pestilences lies in the middle age period. Other logical proof has shown that the Black Death might have been viral in beginning.
In a triumph of multidisciplinary thinking, Dr Killian illuminates the intertwined histories of the spread of disease, the rise of cities, and the nature of scientific inquiry, offering both a riveting history and a powerful explanation of how it has shaped the world we live in.
