Dr. Mahesh Bhaskar is an adopted pen name used by Mahesh Bhaskarrao Dhas Patil. He loves to look at himself as a new age philosopher, Historian, Traveller, a dedicated reader and a full time student of the ancient secret wisdom, who has spent his entire life in searching for knowledge of all known religions and philosophies. He has visited almost all the known and many unknown temples of Indian subcontinent including south-east Asia most commonly known as Indochina including Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia as well as Japan, China and Taiwan. He also loves to visit the newly build temples in Europe and North American continent carrying the Philosophy of Sanatan Dharma. During the school days he used to spend most of his time in the libraries reading mostly the books related with History, Philosophy, Religion, and Biographies. By the time he finished his High school almost all of the books in the city library were finished reading by him. He used to read during vacation he used to borrow a book in the morning at 9 am to finish it by 6 pm to borrow another one so it can be finished by next day morning. Those were the days with no internet and libraries were the only favorite alternative to read to gain information and knowledge. Alexandre Dumas, Leo Tolstoy, and Mark Twain, Acharya Atre, Charles Dickens, Rafael Sabatini, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Munshi Premchand are among his all-time favorite authors.
