Throughout culture and beyond resources the battle between personal autonomy and social cohesion persists. On-going is the Big Brother mentality of state and organisations. All around the globe societal influences challenge individual decision-making. But at what point does society's imposition adversely affect original thought? When does social conditioning become programming towards a minority’s ideology? In this short book, Dr Daniel proposes we, the people of society, need to regain our own individual decision-making; we need to think for ourselves. This, he argues, leads naturally to a civilised society, due to the unavoidable reconnection with the same co-operative sense our choices developed from. It is the power of people working to provide the basics for each other that led to the space above survival. To regain our civilised sense, might it be such conscious focus is once again required?
