Scientific writing is the bridge between discovery and impact. However rigorous an experiment, however novel a finding, its value to the scientific community and to society depends entirely on how clearly and honestly it is communicated. This book has been written to help B.Pharm students, and indeed any early-career researcher, build the practical skills needed to write with clarity, structure, and integrity. The chapters that follow are organised around the five units of the Scientific Writing (Theory) elective: an introduction to the principles of scientific writing, the craft of literature reviews and research papers, the communication of results and data, citation and referencing practice, and the ethical foundations of scientific publication including peer review. Each unit combines conceptual explanation with practical guidance, checklists, and illustrative examples that students can apply directly to their own reports, dissertations, and publications.
