In a Perfect World

Annalise was taken at the age of seven. Jade was left to battle with her disappearance. Jade was preparing to take her Trade Test, the government-issued exam that would determine her future, when suddenly, new threats to the supreme President's security drove a host of accusations and paranoia to Jade's country, with officials repeatedly questioning her loyalty and threatening to place her and her family in jail. Jade has to rebel against her oppressive society before she is silenced forever. Meanwhile, Annalise loses control of her powers one night in her dormitory in the Dymmai Academy, the school for 'special' children and is thrown into an underground prison cell with another boy. Together, she and this boy must work to escape and expose the corrupt system that has exploited them for decades. Will Jade and Annalise be able to take down the government’s corruption and restore peace to their world? Or will they be 'just another rebel', and imprisoned forever?
