In the Summer Storms

It's the middle of summer, thunderstorms have been incessantly pounding the town of Manassas, Virginia. During one of these storms Donavan James returns home to find his wife Shannon has left him, taking their three kids with her. With the house to himself Donavan attempts to live the life of a bachelor; that is until FBI agents show up at his home and connect the death of a notorious mob hit man to his missing wife. He begins to see that several people are looking for Shannon. Where is she and why is she hiding? Donavan fears his wife and kids are in mortal danger, so he mounts his own search for them. He must find his family before they do. But who are they and why do they want Shannon dead?
