
Charity is a young woman faced with many challenges growing up in the Brick City. They say if you can survive in Newark, New Jersey you can survive anywhere. Charity is growing up with a mother who struggles with addiction and a father who is doing his best to put a his criminal past behind him. She has to find a way to survive the sins of her mother and father. She has become a woman exposed to some of the most gruesome and tragic experiences growing up in the "Brick City". She has to use her street sense and nerve to get herself and her little brother out of the hood, against all odds. This is a descriptive tell of how many of us grew up.
